Note: The guild charter is subject to change at any time.
Welcome to Northrend Knights. We sincerely hope that you will be able to call Northrend Knights your “home” while you travel in Azeroth, The Outlands and Northrend. In our guild we have a diverse collection of people from many walks of life. While we have come together to celebrate the spirit of cooperation and comaraderie, people's opinions regarding game mechanics/strategies/character optimization may differ. By joining the Guild you are making a commitment to be a part of a team. There is a minimum level requirement for joining the guild(Level 70 or higher). Northrend Knights are a progression-driven raiding guild focusing on end game content. We are not here to run Deadmines, provide free repair or gear shopping facilities, Nor is this an MSN conferencing circle. If your play style means you prefer to solo, PUG every other night, sit on your mount in Stormwind or spend game time on guild chat, then this is not the guild for you. However, if you want to join a group of experienced players who accomplish things through team work and rely on one another as friends ingame, levelling, farming and raiding beyond level 70 then this Guild might be for you.
Information:
1. Alts are fine once you have been invited to the guild, but please refrain from asking for invites for bank alts or alts you pretty much don't play. Alts, in other Guilds, are handled on a case-by-case basis, but for the most part, alts, in raiding guilds are strictly forbidden . Please speak with the Guild Master for clarification of our position in regards to your Alternative Character.
2. When you are accepted into the guild, please register on the guild website for access to the forums and other useful sections, using a valid e-mail address. Please post a list of your characters in the characters forum, so that we can identify who you are.
3. You must agree to Blizzard's terms of use policies: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html and the Roleplay policy : http://www.blizzard.com/support/wowgm/?id=agm01725p
In addition, once you have been accepted as a member of the guild, you must follow these rules:
1. Act in a mature, courteous and respectful manner towards your fellow guildmates and all other members of the Alliance, You are a representative of Northrend Knights and your actions reflect upon our reputation. This includes being humble when victorious and not dwelling about defeats.
2. Personal initiative and personal responsibility is stressed when organising groups. Do not expect the Guild Officers to organize groups for you. It is up to the individual members to be proactive in forming groups for individual goals.
3. Guild chat is considered at a “MA-15+” rating. We are fairly laxed at what is said in guild chat. But we will not tolerate chat that attack, degrade or insult a member of the guild. If you are considered to be verbally attacking a member of the guild you will be given a warning, if we see it happen again, you will be removed from the guild without hesitation.
4. Participation on the forums and in guild events is highly encouraged. We also encourage all our members to download and use Group Calender(always update to latest version). If you don't attend guild events, then you won't get to know the other wonderful people in the guild better.
5. A philanthropic spirit is encouraged. The next time you find a nice doodad that another member could benefit from, please consider them first. Gold is relatively meaningless in the end-game but the better equipped we are as a guild means that we'll be able to take on more difficult challenges.
6. No exploiting. This includes taking advantage of game bugs for your own personal benefit.
7. No griefing. Griefing includes, but is not limited to:- Stealing resources/chests from other players. Training mobs onto other players intentionally. Ninjalooting,(i.e. looting something against the group's loot rules) while participating in a Group and Trade Scamming.
8. PvP Honor: No corpse camping and disrespectful emotes are frowned upon.
9. No spamming guild chat. This includes but is not limited to: Constantly begging for help/items, Whining incessantly about how unfair RL/the game is, Linking purple items repeatedly and lastly discussing your pve/pvp victories/defeats in repetative and excessive detail.
10. Profanity. We understand that people occasionally slip, but habitual use of leetspeak and profanity are frowned upon in guild chat and are grounds for a warning. Leetspeak/profanity should ALWAYS be avoided in public channels.
11. If a dispute cannot be solved by the individual parties involved, please seek council with an officer(s). Officers, hand-picked by the Guild Leader and trusted members of the guild have the final say when it comes to dealing with issues. Please only seek out the advice of the GM or Co-GM as a last resort.
12. Please make sure you fully understand the rules, regulations and requirements of Northrend Knights before joining us. We have systems in place that, although are not set solid in stone, have worked for us and will be modified/tweaked as the officers of Northrend Knights deem necessary. Being a part of Northrend Knights means that you have read, know and agree to abide by these rules. Failure to do so will result in a probationary membership period or even removal from the guild, depending on the circumstances of the infraction(s).
Guild Goals & Ambitions:
The Guild's ultimate goal is end-game achievement as a team.
** Guild Bank Terms of Use:
Please Respect the Guild Bank!! The Guild bank now has 3 Tabs at your disposal(although within reason). DO NOT withdraw valuable armour to disenchant- unless it has sat there for a long time, no one claims a use for it and you make an additional effort to whisper those in the Guild at who might use such an item for their Toon. Of removing items for the purpose of developing your craft skills, we are not saying you cant do that... Please do, if its not hindering others, And in doing so try to put back into the Guild bank in one way or another... however you see fit. We would appreciate everyones gracious understanding of this manner.
ONE MORE THING: **Guild Bank Raid Tab** This is there for Raid supplies and gear... This tab is not intended for daily questing buff's, the Food and Potions are intended to be taken, only if your Guilded toon is participating in a high end instance or raid.
